As a long-standing member of the nonprofit community, Jean has over 30 years of experience in human service organizations and deeply understands the joys, complexities and challenges of this work. In the beginning of her career, Jean worked on the streets with runaways, was a labor and delivery coach, provided program consultation and grant writing for community advocacy groups, and developed and managed residential and educational programs for youth with severe behavior problems. Over the years, Jean has held the titles of Program Director, Director of Program Planning and Quality Assurance, and Associate Director.
As a member of LifePrints Video, Jean combines an understanding of all phases of video production with strong project management and people skills. Jean’s interviews, story development, and editing style are rooted in her intimate understanding of the nonprofit community and she is able to connect with staff, clients and funders in a way that is unique in video production.
Jean holds an MSW in program planning, development and community organization from UC-Berkeley.
