Dorit’s love of visual storytelling sparked at the age of eight when she emmigrated from Canada to Germany, and from there to Israel without speaking a word of German or Hebrew. Finding nothing to read in English for a while, Cinema became a perfect vehicle through which to communicate and imagine. In the early- 1990’s, Dorit studied Cinema in the M.F.A. program at San Francisco State University. Her films have shown nationally.

 

With over 20 years of experience in all aspects of digital production, post and now HD workflows, she shoots, co-directs and co-edits all of LifePrints Video's projects.

 

A geek at heart, Dorit holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science, Tel Aviv. Molded by over 20 years of basic Science Research, Dorit’s eye for detail and experience with state-of-the-art technologies keeps LifePrints Video capable of taking on a variety of projects. On the other hand, her intimate camera work reflects her warmth and humanitarian outlook. A Canadian, Israeli and U.S. citizen Dorit travels and photographs widely.
