Dorit Grunberger, Filmmaker
Jean Spurr and Dorit Grunberger created LifePrints Video in 2006, inspired initially by their mutual delight in telling stories about people, meaningful work and efforts to make a difference in the world. LifePrints Video has worked with a wide range of nonprofit, social service agencies, education and mental health providers. Clients include providers in the areas of children and families, adult mental health, mental health services for immigrant and refugee populations, community organizing, aging, and hospice. We have also produced pieces for musicians, theater and arts groups, as well as for martial arts organizations.
As a team, we offer Jean’s expertise and perspective as a social worker with over 30 years of experience managing nonprofits, with Dorit’s more than 20 years of involvement in film and video production. Working as a two person crew over the past six years, we have forged a style of work that is unusual in video production. We perform all creative and production work together, and our roles can and do shift to best meet the needs of our customers.
